My good people, MaleSecretary is even more longwinded on the phone than he is in person. He’s “Teleworking” and calls to give me updates.
(Lord have mercy. There is nothing in my DNA that gives me the capacity to listen to his meandering tales of wireless connectors and his wife’s breakfast decisions. As a side-note and clear digression, there is also nothing in my DNA that gives me the capacity to resist cake. Oh my God! I’m turning into MaleSecretary. Okay, back to this Telework story.)
So, yesterday MaleSecretary called and described, in excruciating detail, the steps he took to hook-up his computer to the network from home. I’m pretty sure I aged three months during the call.
It took him eight (very convenient) hours, a full day, to get his computer connected and to logon to our system. He said, unfortunately, he was not able to do any actual work.
On the brighter side, it clear that MaleSecretary is already as productive at home, as he is in the office.
