Homelessness — Sadly, We’ve All Accepted It

Photo by Matt Collamer on Unsplash

Fathers, sons,

Mothers, daughters,

Sisters, brothers

Grandfathers, grandmothers,

Aunts, and uncles.

They’re not just homeless.

They’re not just relatives.

They’re not just people.

They are the reflections of us.

They are part of the fabric of our souls that withered and died.

As they live without, they mirror what we are willing to live with,

In our hearts, in or minds, in our collective conscience.
